Aleksej Kišjuhas is a sociologist and associate professor at the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad. His areas of interest are theoretical sociology, sociology of social change, sociology of emotion, and sociological metatheory. He is the author and co-author of four monographs and more than 40 papers in international and national scientific journals. He is the winner of the Award for the best young researcher of the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad (2015), as well as the “Stanislav Staša Marinković” award for journalistic courage and special achievements in investigative and analytical journalism (2016). He has also been working as a regular columnist for the daily newspaper “Danas” since 2006.
